Well I just thought I might post a picture of my first Ford. I was 15 years old and that me standing next to the car. It cost all of 75 dollars and all it needed was a little pull of the crank to get it started. Jon
That was the only model T that I owned because it could only due maybe 35 or 40 mph. Most of my other cars when I was in high school were Model A's and with a little tail wind I could get up to maybe 50 or 55 but mechanical brakes kind of kept that speed down. Jon
Jon I have a buddy here in Calgary that has a 34 / 35?? that has been in pieces for over 6 years. He even has the wood spokes and is trying to assemble and restore to drive at a speed of 35/ 40 full out.
Everytime we meet and he sees the 58 squarebird he curses %%##**&& that he bought it in the first place. His problem is he is not disciplined enough to set a deadline to complete OR sell it off.
