Last year I thought I discovered oil in my driveway under my 1960 Thunderbird. It turns out the rear main seal was leaking.

I still have not received my bezels. My credit card was charged for them last Thursday. Perhaps this is a sign that they were indeed finished and shipped out. I wonder what shipping method is being used that it takes so long for the bezels to get from Pennsylvania to New York?

I have not been in one of my offices for a few days. I just got a look at the package I got two days ago.

The bezels have arrived!

They look great in gold. A small amount of detail was lost, but that is to be expected. I can't wait to put them on the car.

Here are a couple of pictures I took of the 1960 gold tail light bezels. Note, I still need to rechrome the waffle plates. I like it. The effect is subtle. I will probably eventually gold plate the grille bars and the door script. That's all I will modify.

You're right, it's not over done and it provides a subtle accent to the waffle plates.

I did not have the waffle plates rechromed yet, just the tail light bezels. The tail light bezels were $600 to rechrome and $25 to add the gold plating.
