Ray -- Thanks for posting.
Was so fortunate to find Galaxie in straight rust free condition. Few shopping cart type dings was all. Replaced front seat fabric. Rest is original and fine. Was already fitted with cammed 460, aluminum intake, C6, front disc brakes. From estate; no engine documentation. Is at limit of cam I want for driving around-cruising. Runs fine. Need to figure out specifics of engine. Maybe make changes like Edelbrock heads. No power steering, is a bugger to steer when parking. Good upper body workout !
You are welcome, Bill! BTW, if ya'll would like to see what else Bill has in his garage(s), click on his FINSRIN user name! You will be surprised! Thanks for the update on the '60 Galaxie, Bill. That is quite the find!
Besides working on his Squarebird and his staple of other Classic Cars (see his FINSRIN user id!) he has been working on his gorgeous 1960 Galaxie. Here are the pix he has sent me. I downsized them to 1024pixels for him.
Latest progress pictures....
