Howard ~ olevet Has A Problem...

Need advise . Windshield is still out of my bird, looks like there is plenty of room to take a carving knife and reach back under that pad and trim some. Will i mess it up or help?

If it's too far from the windshield trimming the padding from the end isn't going to help much. It needs to be trimmed at the front of the dash.
