Did you know that you can buy tonneau covers made for the '58-'60 Squarebird? I didn't, as I thought if you were going to go that route, you had to use one for a Bulletbird or Flairbird. But Jiri, in the Czech Republic started looking for a tonneau cover as soon as he bought his '59 Convertible. I was helping him look and sent him a couple of links. But he found a company called Auto Krafters (which I added to the Advertisements Forum) who sell a cover for the '58-'60 Convertible for $510! Check out their information in the Advertisements Forum. You can download their Tbird catalog also! The information on the Tbird tonneau covers is on Page 19. They also have the hardware for it, and also other convertible parts. They have a 84 page catalog that covers '58 to '76 Tbirds. Another source for parts!

They come up on E-bay once in a while,last Nov there was a mold to make them on there someone got.There is a couple different styles of them.The rounded wedge with a raised center like mine and the one the has a slopping curve to it is the most common one on 58-60 birds.I have yet to see hardware for them like the back hold downs,I guess if you got one from a supplier they would be with it along with the padded headrest and footman and latch in the front. -

Hi Tom, apparently, Auto Krafters is marketing tonneau covers that fit the Squarebirds, Bulletbirds and Flairbirds. The Ford Part # listed for the '58-'60's is B8S-76501A3A, on Page 19 of their catalog. The parts that Tom mentioned can be found on Page 48. The Ford Part # listed for the Bulletbird is C2SZ-76501A34. For the Flairbird it is C4SZ-76501A34.

I have had a tonneau cover on my '59 convertible for many. many years. I can't remember where I bought it but as I recall it cost about $500 then.
