Well almost. I am upgrading all the wiring in my 59 to a 12 circuit fuse harness and the the block is out getting machine work done on it and the tranny is also being rebuilt, so with time on my hands, I got the idea from the TRL but I wanted my gauges to match. Just bought a cheap 2-1/2" tach and basically swapped face plates. The trick was finding a tach that the 6,000rpm mark was 180 from 0.

Cute. And clever. I like that kind of thing. That's why I painted the valve covers yellow and the air cleaner white on my 408 stroker Windsor.1960 HT

Larry,
Nice job. Can you tell us where you got the tach and the model. I'm sure others would like to do the same thing.

The needle pops right off and the face plate is just held on with two small Phillips head screws. There is a plastic piece behind the face plate that needs to be trimmed ever so slightly for the clock face to sit flush because the clock face is not flat all the way around, and you need to use these type led bulbs because there is little room between the circuit board and rear housing

Larry,
Thanks for the info. Maybe Ray can add this to the TRL.
