Had my carburator rebuilt & on way home engine over heated. Has been over heating ever since. Replaced thermostat & still the same. Not sure if having carb. done has anything to do with it. Can't figure out why it's running so hot.

Lean air-to-fuel mixture can cause excessive heat. Wrong timing can too. Check your heat riser valve to make sure it isn't stuck shut.Member, Sons of the American Revolution
