Well, going to look at a 60 TBird on Sat

Guess it's a single owner car, 352, in California all it's life. Grandpa parked it and forgot about it..... Not sure from a craigslist photo it's condition.

Power window car though with extra doors, including glass and powerwindow motors, extra rear glass, extra front bumper, extra hood and trunk.... Taillights...

Anyone needing any of that? Maybe I could sell that part if it's any good to lower cost of getting the car

Will do guys. Color looks to be a coppery pink kinda color?

How much would you float on a 60, no body rot, but surface rust on roof and deck. It would need a full resto I am sure. I have no idea since I have yet to actually pay anything for a squarebird

Yes, I paid nothing for ole BigBird as my kids call her.

          Look for the ROT

Don't forget to take a peek in the springs of the back seat to see if you are fortunate enough to find an intact ROT sheet (factory assembly sheet) which will tell you the date of assembly and other pertinent information. If not there, you could also look under the carpet in the back seat. That is where I found mine. Handle it with care when removing it. My 2 cents worth from a newbie.

According the Automotive Mileposts website, the 1960 exterior color code L was 1276 Gold Metallic and Gold Dust, for the Sales Name... According to the VTCI Official Factory Specifications (OFS) for Squarebirds, the 1960 Squarebird did not have a Paint Code L... per 7.2.1... It is NOT on the list...

It must have been a special order then, since it is listed in one of my thunderbird books, but not the other
                            Good eye Ray!

Yes, Cathie is right! It was a Special Order and a Lincoln paint color. I meant to put that in the post, but I see I forgot to do so.
