Really -- Really nice car. Enjoy it.

I'd love to see more photos of the inside and engine someday if you get a chance.

Sal I stared at your picture for about 10 minutes and it is flawless. I think the word is outstanding and the tonneau covers look like they were made for the convertible, as they pick up the lines back to the continental kit. I am sure that TChicken can relate to the flaming red colour that just makes the whole package. Great job.

                        here's Christine!!!

Since I have most of the pictures of Sal's beautiful '60 red convertible, Christine, I told him I would post them for him. I do not have any engine bay pictures yet, but Sal said he would get me some, if he has some, probably after the holidays. The ones at a Show & Shine were in the Alexander Memorial CD I created.

The picture in front of the vineyard was the one I was going to use, but it did not have the tonneau cover on, and I wanted one with it in place. The '1960 red color was Monte Carlo Red. In trying to darken some of the backgrounds in the pictures, I also accidentally darkened the color of the car. The lighter color you see in some pictures is the way I got the pictures from Sal.

You can see I had quite a few pictures to chose from, and I ended up liking the one I used for July, though I loved that vineyard shot. Sal was very gracious in taking more pictures for me. Here is the link. If you click on View as a Slideshow, it should run as such also. Enjoy!

Sal that T-Bird is beautiful, a real head turner for sure!

In reference to the backdrop in this pic, it looks like you are on the right road to be cruising it that fine automobile as well. Looks like you would see some really good veiws from that "open air" convertible on a nice warm day. (It was 9 degrees here yesterday morning in N.Texas).

                          Enjoy her.

                              Anders,

There are pictures showing where the tonneau cover starts and ends. Look at all of them again in Photobucket. You will see that the beginning of the cover is right at the back of the front seats. It covers the back seats, and snaps in place about a foot in front of the trunk deck opening. You should be able to see two small silver looking wingnut type nuts sticking up.
