I recently bought a 1960 Tbird, which had a incomplete bumper jack assembly. Question: is the assembly different for the '60 vs the '58 & '59? Also, the base plate stamped with AJ-C on one side and A on the opposite side which doesn't allow me to secure the spare to the mounting bracket. The one piece threaded L-shaped attaching bolt appears to be correct. The post is 33 1/2 long, the ratchet is 1 1/2 inches where the j-hook is attached. What have I got and what do I need ??? Thanks. This is my first post as a "newbie".

Here are pictures I took of my '59 jack. The '60 jack is the same. I don't have the car any longer so I can't get you measurements but this should tell you if you have the correct jack, base, and hook.

The jack in my 60 looks just like the one in John's picture, and the post is 33 1/2 inches long.
