I just purchased a 1960 Tbird with no spare tire/rim. I know it's a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern and a 14 inch rim. The local junk yard was not able to cross reference a rim from a newer car. Any ideas on what cars from the 90's to present are interchangeable?

Ford Ranger 14" rims will fit just fine. They're the easiest to find.

The rims we use are wider. Look for any Mustang, Granada, Lincoln Versailes, Chrysler or a host of other rims that are 6.5" wide X 14 diameter from cars with disk brakes. They must be 5-hole on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.
One of my rim shops opened his Hollander books and found a lot of rims from various cars and trucks. He crossed a 14" Granada rim. The most desirable are rims that have center 'bumps' for dog dish hubcaps. Just about all of them will hold the OEM 'sunburst' full hubcap. - DaveMember, Sons of the American Revolution
