    Right, 58's are black. The pictures I posted are of my 59. The truck release switch is directly below the headlight switch, there's an arrow from the caption block. The picture is hard to view, when I scaled the photo for attachment size limits, I scaled too small on the dash picture. I was rushed for time and couldn't redo.

      I wasn't talking about your car, Ken, but the one on Ebay!!! I was looking for the same details that you provided. That was when I noticed his instruments color.

      A little searching reveals that this exact car was discussed this forum on Sept 14, 2006. At that time it was owned by one of our members, Kennylmeyers. If you do a search for the VIN H8YJ122470 the discussion will pop up....

      I went to the Registry to look at it and thought "This photo looks familiar!!"

        From reading that previous thread that you discovered, did you presume that the data plate was still with the car at that time?

              58 for sale

              Thanks guys for all the help on this car, I am going to pass and not waste my time going over to look at it, but I am looking at that 60 Holman Moody recreation car also in my area, did not meet reserve, he wants me to come and look at the car, only and hour away , think I will, as you may recall it has the sun roof ,new paint,drive train , although not stock, it is now 460 with C6, new brakes, you guys that have seen it....what do you think and what price , he had it bid to 11.3, and says he will take 11.5
