I am cleaning up some of the engine bay wiring and found these three wires cut. They originally went near the water temp sensor area of the car. One is a light red ( maybe pink), a black wire, and a beige color. Any ideas?

As far as the pink wire that is your resistance wire that should go from the coil to the ignition switch. Has your distributor been upgraded to electronic points? That's the only reason why I can see it being cut. Do the other wires have stripes on them?
