    Anyone identify this part?

    Hi all

This part came with my 61 convertible. It may be NOS or has been repainted. Any ideas?

    Cheers

Mark there is also a rubber plug to act as a cushion against the license plate and the bracket that fits in the round hole , the same applies to the top centre hole in the rear bumper and the hole found in the bumper under the flip lid for the gas fill-up .You will find most if not all the T-bird vendors sell the rubber bumpers . I had a good look at my front bumper. There are two holes spaced about 14 inches apart on the bottom of the overrider which is where I mounted my bracket. I didn't see any place to attach the pictured part.

            Regards

I don't know if this helps, but this is what it looks like on a '62 Bulletbird.

Thanks for the information guys. I'll take another close look at my bumper but I don't recall any holes in that position.

Well, a closer look revealed the plate for the license holder in the bumper overrider. None so blind....
