    Ranger wheels

I have my disk brake setup installed and got ahold of some mid 90's ranger wheels. They just slightly rub on the outside edge of the caliper guide pin holes. Will it be safe to grind an 1/8" off in that location? They would fit perfect if I just have that tiny bit of room.

Sure. Calipers have enough beef in the cast iron where a little grinding means nothing. The guide pins don't carry any braking torque at all.

Don't forget to paint your calipers. I use Rustoleum Barbecue paint because it is high temperature paint and all the stores carry it at a reasonable price.

Congratulations on your new disk brakes. I know you will love it as much as I love mine. - Dave
