    engine detail question

I have seen several engine bay photos of the 352 motor and I have a question.
On most of the photos, on the passenger side inner fender, there is a rubber grommet or "sleeve" which appears to route the starter cable down the fender to the starter.
I don't know how else to describe it and I don't know if there's more than one. My car doesn't have this but I do see some factory holes in the fender where it should be.
Can anyone tell me what the sleeve or grommet is and if you can buy them anywhere? I'd like to be as correct as possible and I don't like my starter cable just laying on the fender.
    thanks,
    Casey

    RE: engine detail question

The bracket and rubber grommets that fit in these brackets for the starter cable are reproduced. You also can get the correct type screws that held these in. Try Bob's Bird House or one of the other Thunderbird suppliers.

do you have a diagram or picture showing how many of these brackets are required and where they go?

      thanks,

The holes on the right fender will give an indication where they belong. I think there are three of these brackets.

I don't have better pictures at this time.

thanks for the pics Alexander - it certainly helps.
I also found a diagram in my wiring manual that helped too.
