    Myrtle Beach Car Show

I attended a car show while on vacation last week to see some beautiful cars. My favorites were a '58 TBird Conv (of course), the only Squarebird there and a '61 Starliner. I never found the owner of the '58 to see if he was a part of this forum. The Starliner was real nice, with a 427, 4 speed and AC. Maybe it's just something about black cars...

    Myrtle Beach Car Show

Hi Mike, thanks for posting those pix and the link! Those are two nice looking cars. Nice interiors and nice motor shot. I especially enjoyed looking through the link at what else was there. I think one of things I like best about going to car shows so far, is meeting new people and seeing others cars and what they have done with them. I have seen some beautiful workmanship on restored cars and trucks, regardless of whether it is here in the States, Down Under, in Europe. What some have done with their vehicles is amazing!

It's funny seeing how the 1958 owner added red LEATHER seats, but didn't bother to dye the dash pad red too....

Right, It's obviously a replacement and now sticks out like a sore thumb to those in the know.

Mike and others. Yes the seats look like the ones I have in my 60 ribbed the same way, in leather.Perhaps he didn't want to have the dash pad red as it would rreeaallyy look RED Too bad for such a low production convert
