    Possible Technical Resource Library Problem

We have been working a problem within the TRL tonight with driller, Penelope, and myself. Bill has not been able to access the Automotive Mile Post links within the TRL. He can access the other links in it, but not those. I can access them all. Here is what he and I are wondering.

Can those of you in overseas locations, as Bill is, in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, in the European countries and others, access those AMP links that apply to the 1958-1960 Squarebirds? If you can or cannot please PM me and let me know. This might be a problem isolated to those outside of the U.S., or it might be something isolated to Australia. We are trying to find out. Anyone, anywhere, should be able to click on one of those links and bring them up. There should be no restriction on accessing them that we are aware of. Here is what Bill got when he tried.

    403 Error - Forbidden

You are not authorized for access.
Your IP Number has been logged.

Let me know if you get anything like that or have problems bringing up any of those AMP links in the TRL, please. If there is a problem, we need to fix it.

      Possible Technical Resource Library Problem

Thanks Chris, for the reply. Well, we know that Chris, in Adelaide, has access, so that means it is not something that is just restricted to Australia! Maybe just Western Australia, for whatever reason? I would like to hear from others if they can or cannot bring up the Automotive Mile Post entries in the TRL.

As for the '55-'57 & '77-'79 entries not working, that is AMP. They must not have the information because they have not activated the links to those years.

Curious to know...if they JUST go to the Automotive milepost website, can they access the pages then?
Thinking it might be a 'refresh delay' thingy with a hotlink

I will ask my friends in NSW to see if they can access the pages...

                Bill and Chris.....
Can you access the pages if you go to AMP directly?

Have you tried to refresh the page AS it is loading ( like before you get the 403 error? )

I assume you've cleaned out your cookies and regular PC / browser maintenance....

Oh, and browsers...what are you both using?

I've got no problems getting it direct.
No 403 coming up. I go through Internet Explorer & google.

OK, problem solved. I can get on from a work laptop at home. So the problem was my firewall at the office (AVG). , which means that I cant look at the Tech Resoucre Library whilst I am in the office, Probably a message for me there anyway, as I discourage my staff surfing the net

                          automotivemileposts problem

I have been trying to get into the automotivemilöeposts website for days but get the 403 error and 'your ip has been logged'

I tried the bare website the 'home page' as well as the links in the tech library.
Also I have tried through firefox and IE browsers but the same problem occurs.
what could be the problem? I am accessing it here from my Finland location.
                          regards,

                            Possible Technical Resource Library Problem

                            Hi Ron,

Automotive Mile Posts is up here, both the main page and the Thunderbird main page. It is working fine, so it might be a regional thing as to why it is down. But it is working good here.

Strange not working here, I have had never this problem with any other websites, maybe they put a restriction up for foreign countries or so I do not know.
Do you have maybe an email address from them so I can ask them by mail? Or is there in the website itself maybe a Faq section with this problem?
I only get to see this message without any images at all.
