    waffle plates

    HI
Does anyone have a quick slick way to paint the waffle plates for a 1960 thunderbird other than detailed painstaking tapeing of areas not to be painted? Maybe some kind of hand helded template device.
    thanks,
    mark, 1960 thunderbird conv.

T- Bird Ranch sells decals for this. http://www.tbirdranch.com/
Click on "Paint repair decals" on the left hand column.

I used a felt tip "paint" marker pen that I got from an arts and craft store. It was easy to follow the outlines of the squares.Chrome polish on a rag wrapped around the tip of one finger took care of any excess or smears on the chrome grid.

I have used the decals supplyed by John Draxler at T-Bird ranch, they work well even on the hubcaps as he supplys kits for them too.
