Your seat bottom hooks into these. One may be too straight but not necessarily. You will know when you put the seat bottom back in place. If it lifts out too easily, bend it back down slightly.

Like most trim, no two pieces are exactly the same so it becomes 'custom fit'. There is plenty of metal there to make adjustments. Even if you don't move the bracket, nobody can tell the difference once the seat is in. - Dave
