What size tires/ wheels?

Just wondering what size tires you guys have on your squarebirds. Mine has these dinky 14-inch wheels on it. I really want to move up to 15-inches, but I'm not sure if the bolt patterns would be right. Also, what would be a good width? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Your new wheels have to be 5 hole X 4 1/2" hole centers. If I remember correctly, the hole centers are measured from the edge of one hole to the center of the other. 15, 16 inch should work (do not know about larger), you have to watch the wheel width, and the wheel off-set, for wheel clearance on the front and back, for turning and wheel removal.

Yes 15 inch Ford rims will fit nicely.

Yup, went to 15" K/H wires on my 60. Plenty of room !!!
And it does ride better.

Thanks guys, I have access to some 15 in. mustang wheels that I'll try . Now I am wondering about tire dimensions. I want my bird to have good ride height, but at the same time i dont want the front wheels to rub while turning. So whats a good width of tire?

I'm using P235 60R14s on mine ... I think they look fine.

17's on the rear with 225/50R17, 16's with 205/65R16's on the front, American Racing Salt Flat Specials. Shoulda/coulda/woulda used 18's and 17's!
