Who has a 58-60 convertible in Massachusetts?

    1959 Convertible.

I'm in the process of sorting out weatherstrip and in repairing convertible parts. It would be helpful if someone had a convertible that I could photograph to guide me since the PO left no notes or photos.

    Thanks very much....

If you do not find someone who has a 1958-1959 Squarebird Convertible in your state, consider the following. Keep in mind that the 1960 convertible was considerably different to the '58 & '59 as far as the top operations goes.

The Technical Resource Library has the manual for the 1958 Tbird Convertible Top Adjustments, which probably also will apply to the 1959, since they were basically the same. Not so for 1960.

You may also want to buy the Top Repair & Adjustment Manual for the '58-'60 Squarebird. The Bird Nest has it for $7, Stock # MP35.

You may also want to buy the Body & Interior Trim Assembly Manual that Ford used to put together your '59 Tbird on the assembly line. Bird Nest also has it for $26, stock #AM62 for the 1959.

Ray, Thanks for the info. I'm more interested in fitment issues as the top was in pieces when I got it.

As Ray mentioned the 1958 convertible top adjustment manual is a good place to start. It has an exploded view of all the top parts and how they go together as well as how to adjust it to fit correctly.
