    Oil pressure guage

Has anyone installed an oil pressure guage i.e. Sunpro, autometer, etc on the 390 block? Is it possible?

    RE: Oil pressure guage

It is easy to install an oil pressure gauge on a 390. You either install the oil pressure sender where the present oil pressure switch sits on top of the oil filter, or you can get a three way adapter and have both the oil pressure switch and the oil pressure sender for your new gauge.

Thanks! wasnt sure if the top of the oil filter housing was capable of hosting an after market product like a sunpro guage or not

If you do any work on your car, I would appreciate some pictures of the installation. I would like to build up the technical page for the 1961 to 1963 Thunderbirds. Thanks.
