Transmission lines -- Which goes where?

I have both of the tranny cooler lines to the radiator off.

On the tranny, there is one line from the top, and one from the bottom.

Which line goes to the top and bottom of the radiator?

    Thanks

Does it even matter which line goes where from the tranny to the radiator -- top or bottom connections?

Doesn't seem that it would matter.

I made certain not to mix mine up when I rebuilt my trans. BUT, if you think about it, all those lines are doing is flowing fluid into and out of the radiator connections, nothing else. I don't think it should matter, but the pre-bent (original) trans fluid lines should easily indicate how they should fit.

        bottom in top out

You want the tyranny fluid going in at the bottom of the radiator and out the top.

This allows the best cooling of the fluid. it slows the fluid and keeps pressure in the system at least thats what I have always been told

Which one of the two lines from the tranny is the pressure line out? Is it the top or bottom line?

          Thanks

That I do not know I have a C-6 in mine.

I have a 430 eng/trans recently pulled from a 60 HT. The original trans cooling lines are attached. Looking at the passenger side of the trans, the lower rear line runs to the bot of the rad, the middle front line to the top and the upper front line is a vent/overfill line to the ground. See attached photo.

That's exactly what I needed to see.
