Just got home with big yeller!!!
Took her out for a spin and she squeals the tires just fine.
Picked her up 60 miles north of Seattle in a small town called Sedro Wooley where the sun was shining.Comin home we ran into an actual blizzard,in mid April!Sand trucks and crazy drivers. Their talkin a foot of snow tonight in Everett! It's nice in Seattle but that convergent zone around Everett was insane today.
Glad I borrowed a trailer from a friend.
I think this is the deal of the year..2K for a nice 59 3 speed manual w/OD.
I'll post some pix. tomorrow

That my friend is an understatment..... glad the trip went well. How original is the "big banana"? Can't wait to see more pix... My wife is amazed that I can get excited that someone on the other side of the country bought "a car".

My wife cant beleive that I get excited from the other side of the world! I have to admit, getting any bird for that sort of money is just incomprehensible to us over here and I envy you. Getting a second bird is something I would love to do one day, but I dont want to share my attention between two..it would be like two wives....how do you do it?

Thanks !! Yes, 59 and 60. But the '60 went down the road recently and was replaced with an '02 for the wife...which we drove to Norfolk, VA over the weekend. What a nice (9 hr.) ride.. (Lincoln LS chassis) STILL... two is a lot to handle. We went with my son to an All-Ford show while there. One '57, one '71, and our '02 were the only Birds...and a million Mustangs, my son being one. This pic is from Aug '07.
