cleaning the outside of the carb

Carb cleaner ...

just get a can of spray carb cleaner from Wal-Mart and an old toothbrush. should work just fine. Mike

If you want to get it really clean use gasoline and some very fine steel wool. It'll really get in there and polish that thing up to a very nice shine. Just be careful that you don't get any of the steel wool shavings into the carb.
