Does anyone know if the FE 390 valve covers will fit on the '59 FE 352 engine? They look the same to me.

1960's Ford FE 390 Valve Covers
Hi Alexander!
I knew someone would know that here! Thanks for telling me that FE 390 valve covers from a '60 will fit on my FE 352 on my '59. That is great to know, and widens the search for new valve covers. I much appreciate it. Also appreciate the information regarding installing a new detent plate, shifter, and cowl. My mechanic had no major problems doing it. The sloppiness is gone now. It clicks into place and you now know for sure which position you are in. There is a great wealth of information and experience here. Thanks! Ray ~ Yellow Rose

1960's Ford Fe 390 Valve Covers
Hi John,
Everything, so far, seems to be working okay. I am glad they were able to get things operational again. I know we all missed it when it was down. Thanks, guys, for the hard work and effort I am sure it took to get it back up and running again!
As for the color of the covers, on a 352 engine, it is my understanding that they are supposed to be blue with the word FORD on them. If you have a '60 Tbird, with a 352 engine, according to the Restoration Guide, the valve covers should be yellow.
Best Regards, Ray ~ Yellow Rose

yes... that's what I meant... yellow for a 1960. I did not have the book handy to look it up but thought I could remember pix of 60's engine compartments.
