My return spring is strong , I 'll order a new rod and get a less strong return spring. And see if that does the trick..

Gas pedal linkage

I'm having a problem with the linkage from the gas pedal to carb.. it keeps bending near the fire wall , is this a common problem or just a bad part?

Dash is red and seats are red and white... dash cover was ordered red but they sent tan, and refunded my money and said keep it so I did, may try dye it.

Update on my 1960 T-bird

Car is painted and new rims and tires, waiting on new headlight bulbs could not find them local. I just have the interior left headliner and paint steering wheel

Thanks, I think the curve piece may go on bottom of windshield have not checked yet do to heavy rain today...

Now that the bird is painted ,I'm putting the chrome and trim on it. It was a basket case when I got it so I don't know where these came off of!

Well I've done everything I can do to the bird, Taking it to the Body shop Sat, Should have it back in about 7-10 days. I'll post some picture when I get it back.

disc spacers

The reason I order some spacers was when I did my 59 the rims would not fit either so added 1/4 spacer and my stock rims worked fine,

Bit the big one today

I ordered the booster and master setup on ebay for $329 ouch, Also got my scarebird brackets in todays mail. Will start on the brakes next weekend when the booster gets here.. I also order two 1/4...
