Fuel Pump gave up

My fuel pump on my 62-63 390 has seemed to quit pumping. Would it be wise for me to rebuild this pump or just replace it with another one?

I have a 16 lb cap on mine and it helped a corroded freeze plug pop, no adverse affects of the higher pressure and one beneficial one, a higher boiling point of the coolant.

hmmm... i like the sound of that. A nice front end rebuild and some disc brakes would really set the car up a lot better. This leaves me wishing for a 4th gear overdrive and some type of headers....
