Last night my wife and I got the new 390 and C6 installed in the 59. I mistakenly bought a trans mount for the C6(1974 model) and it won't work.

I was looking to avoid cutting the console, but when I get the motor and trans back, I'll see what I can fabricate.

If it fails, then I'll have to go cuttin the console.

Any other ideas...

Called up the transmission center and ordered my 20 tooth driven gear for my speedo. The folks over there are very helpful and verified what I needed for my Bird. I'll post after I get it installed...
