That sounds right because the hole on one side is .218" one way and .252" tha other so it's worn out. I'm going to strip it clean and electroplate it with copper and fill the hold with either silver...

"1959 THUNDERBIRD BODY, TRIM & SEALANT" and "1959 THUNDERBIRD ELECTRICAL ASSEMBGLY MANUAL"

Both books are filled with original Ford drawings...
