Convertible package tray photos needed

The first picture shows the package tray. The second shows the underside which the PO tried to repair with Bondo. Since its structural I have to cut this out and weld in a new piece....

The trim and sealer manual is unclear if I have the correct orientation of the "package tray" and trough weatherstrip.
Is 1 correct or is 2 correct or is neither?

Seat shell trim screws question

59 Convertible

The rear trim is held on with 4 (2 each side) #6 trim screws.
The remainder of the seat shell is held on with what? The holes are worn enough that a #8 will work in some and a #10...
