Those look almost perfect & are SO MUCH harder to find than the 1959-60 style Sunray covers... :)

Bend the tabs or "teeth" as I call them, back out some. Also try using a file on the points. This will help to give them a better "bite" inside the steel wheel.

Since I started my T-bird "dry", I went with the Ford extended life "gold" coolant they used in the 2005-2012-ish diesel trucks & distilled water.

So far so good. :)

In my 430cid '60 model, I also run a product called "Water Wetter". It mixes in with coolant/distilled water mixture. It helps to prevent hot spots & heat soak. :cool:
