I broke down and had the old spacer solution installed. Got 2 miles from the shop that did it and my belts wrapped up leaving me stranded. "yooouu hooo triple A, come and get me!" after a few tries...

I ve been running a MSD Pro billet ready to run distributor(part #8595) simple 3 wire install, just add a good coil ( Im using a MSD also) a little pricey, but simple upgrade, just watch your oil...

I checked the 63 manual and there is no fuse location listed for powerlocks.It was a vacuum sytem. Im still searching fro a drawing. I ,ll let you know if I find anything ....:+

So, here goes,
63 bird with mostly stock 390. Rebuilt it and I must have aquired a later model waterpump as my original power steering pump mounts ( a.c car, remote reservoir set up) no longer line...
