cruise-o-matic fluid

Does anyone know if amsoil ATF is compatible with the cruise-o-matic tranny in my 62 bird. All their site says is that it's compatible with Ford Mercon and Mercon V.

To remove the cylinder you insert a paperclip in the tiny hole on the cylinder and with the key in the ignition you turn to the left and it should pop right out. If this doesn't work it may be stuck...

Took off and cleaned up my wiring (battery to ground, solenoid and solenoid to starter, generator) which appeared to be clean but apparently wasn't and all is good now, thanks again Dave.

starting issues

My 62 is giving me problems when starting, sometimes I get nothing (not turning over) and then just start after a while, other times it will turn over but then stop like if it's draining the battery....
