We set the original side pieces on. Need new ones.

I took Dave's advice and got some washers. It was a very simple conversion and would suggest it to anyone. However the stock bird wheels wont clear the calipers.

I used a 2 jaw puller. No problem with it coming off. I would guess with a leaking seal the yoke might slip off easier because the rear end grease may act like penetrating fluid.

I saw that at SEMA too. It looked like they used some kind of material that matched the grille insert and used it as a throwback 60'-70's lace pattern on the paint job in a couple of places.
