Hey ya'll need a little help here can anybody tell me the gear diameter size in a 67 rear I have been told 9 in but also have been told 9 3/8 did they use both sizes ? And is there any aftermarket gear sets available for the 9 3/8 ?

They did use both sizes in '67. Does your rear have the ID plate on it. If it does look for the letters WDC or WDT. WDC is a 9" and WDT is 9 3/8.

JT, before you pull it, try cleaning that tag with different types of cleaning solvent. If you can clean it enough to see the WDC or WDT that will tell you which you have in there... Unless someone changed things out and just left the tag there...
