Fuel drain plug leaks

Hi,

After removing the gas tank (and the drain plug) and then reinstall it I got a small fuel leakage in the drain plug. I've tried to tightening it more but don't dear to use more force and maybe ruin the tank. Is it going to be any gasket on this plug, or are there other ways to stop this leakage?

The plug is a simple pipe thread. You can re-tap the hole and use Teflon pipe tape on the plug threads. That will stop your leak.
