Tracing my car's history

I was wondering if there's any way to find out any history on my car. I have a feeling she might have once been a police car as she has a spotlight on the wing mirror.

Tracing my car's history

Hi Alison, it was not unusual for our Squarebirds to have spotlights on them. Some of them have the hooded squared HL-1 spotlight/side view mirror combo. Others have the round spotlight/mirror version. They were usually added for show, not for general use. So having a spotlight on the left and/or right fender, does not mean it was a police car at one time. One place you can find out more about your Tbird IF it was registered on the Thunderbird Registry, is to go there, type in your VIN # and see if it shows up in the Registry. Go to www.tbirdregistry.com and check it out. If it is not registered, you can register it while you are there.
