The radiused guards (fenders) are just too overdone, half the amount and the car would have looked tough.

Hey Guys,
You have got to check this out! This has got to be one of the craziest things I have ever seen in my life. This guy has taken a 1997 Thunderbird and put a '51 Ford front and rear end on it!
To see more pictures go to Ebay type in item number#170362722063

Yeah, there's a red one around here... they just glued on fiberglass panels over the originals...kinda cool looking if you've got a rough car to start with.

The company that makes the 50 ford/thunderbird kit is called easyrods. Here is a link to a lode of pictures of finished cars. They also have an option that makes it look like a 50 merc from the front. There are a couple pics that people have done a little modifying to make them look like 55/56 Crown Victoria's. If you go to thier home page there are some cool pics of a 57 chev kit that is applied to a Camero.

heres a couple from thier site...

You spend all the money and all that time to do this and what do you have? NOTHING!!! Why not take that good money and go out and buy a old car and fix it up, then you have something.
I will agree I will keep my '60 T-bird!!!

I dunno...some of them are rather kewl.... a easier method of most to have a unique looking car, that parts are well handier to come by....

I certainly wouldn't be shed of Coral for such, but to each their own... :)
