Saturday, we had our Tbird Club Christmas party, which, as usual, was fun and exciting. We all bring presents and then do the Secret Santa thing, I guess you call it, where your number is called out, and you pick a gift out. Then the "stealing" begins! I got a nice gift, but it was not what I was hoping for! There were two Thunderbird clocks in the mix and one of them got "stolen" twice and after that, it is out of circulation. The other is the clock in the attached picture, and I "stole" it, (the second 2 "steal" took it out of circulation) though I do not own a '60 Red Convertible Tbird! The person who had it doesn't either, so I did not feel to bad!
I have just spoken with the man who made these classic car clocks quite a few years ago, and he told me that he no longer makes them because it costs an arm and a leg these days for clear coat. So he stopped making them years ago. I was hoping that he was still doing so, so that I could tell you about them. However, that is not the case anymore. There is just ONE Thunderbird that he has left in stock. That is a 1956 Green Tbird that does not say that on the clock, but you can tell because it has the exhaust ports in the curved section of the rear bumper. Only the '56 had it like that. If someone wants this one, you had better grab it quick! There are a few other classic car clock makes that he still has available on his website.

However, there are companies who still make Ford Thunderbird Wall Clocks.

Here is the pic! The color is off slightly, due to the flash and the clear coat probably, but it is a bright red Tbird!
