1962 tire size?
215/75R14 radials? 225/75R14? Fender skirt tire rub?

I'd skip the skirts Scott and go P225. Since you like skirts all I can tell you is the front/rear track measures 61/60, and here's some interesting information:

Standard tire size: 8.00 - 14

Tire width (mm): 203

Tire sidewall factor: 90

Rim size (in): 14

Total wheel diameter (mm / in):

721 / 28.4

Someone has some practical experience with this, but I know on my 1960 the front/rear track is 60/57 inches.
