    Fuel sender float

Guess I'll give up all my secrets today. Replaced the gas tank on my Tbird and found the sending unit float full of gas. Had repaired it once before so not really surprised. The sending unit was fine just a bad float.

Don't know why I decided to take a chance on it but ordered a replacement off ebay. It works fine (even if it is for a Mopar). About 1/4 inch shorter than the original but fits the wire that holds the float perfect. Should have taken a pic but was so happy it fit I installed it right away.

Eric, did you use a brass float because of the affects of gasohol? Most modern car floats are made of plastic (and work just fine)... just say'n - Dave
