    Hard Shifting Cruisomatic

    Hello All,

My 62 has is starting to hesitate in shifting to higher gear when I take her out. I allow the engine to warm up and then once I shift the gear selector to the green dot and begin to drive it does not want to switch to the higher gear right away. I can hear and feel it shift once and then it hangs for a bit with the rpm high. After a few minutes it starts to shift normal again. The fluid level is fine. I have been hearing about band adjustment. Is this occasional delayed shifting a sign that band adjustment is necessary or is the transmission just not warm enough. What would be a sign that band adjustment is necessary? Thank you.

I just read some other posts. Low fluid, trans not warm enough, dirty filter. I should have searched before posting my question.
