    Oil pressure sending unit

Noticed my oil pressure light didn't come on today when I switched on the car. Of course I was already out and about so had to figure it was just the bulb or the sending unit.

Anyway - fired it up and no rattling - had oil pumping to the valve train when viewed through the breather hole in the valve cover so just continued on my journey.

It did turn out to be the sending unit (grounded the sending unit wire and turned the switch on and the light came on).

Found a replacement at O-Rileys for 7 bucks - part number S343 manufactured by BWD. Doesn't have the portion on the metal to put a wrench on and tighten or loosen like my OEM? but it is the right thread and it works.

    FYI.....
