    A Collection Of Chevy Convetibles

I know these are not Fords or Squarebirds, but you guys have been enjoying pictures of other cars, so you should enjoy seeing these pictures!

This is a private collection. He opens it to the public occasionally and is somewhere in Iowa.

There is a 1939 coupe amidst all those ragtops as Chevrolet chose not to build a convertible that year. Starts with a 1912 Little motorcar, which was absorbed into Chevrolet in 1913, then a convertible for every year up to 1975 in the big cars, except for 71 (not found yet) and 1939 (no verts made) and 1923 (Huckster instead).

Chevelle SS verts from 64 to 72, camaro SS verts 67 to 69, and Corvette verts 53 to 75, with a few coupes thrown in. Has 8 vettes to go. 6 more vettes arriving in a week or two, 53, 55, 56, 68, 71, 73 thru 75. Need to be convertibles also and BB's a plus. Now we know why Chevy convertibles are so rare, this guy has most of them.

Here is the link to the pix.

Wow, I think they call that a monopoly. He probably financed the 6 new ones by selling the gas out of the tanks of the old ones....at the current price of gas, he'd still have change!
