Should the floor mat go in first and the side and back boards go on top or do the boards go in first and the floor mat lays up against the boards.
Thanks
Bill
I couldn't say if it is correct or not, but I layed the floor mat down first and then put in the side boards. The floor mat was a bit oversized, so the side boards helped to hold down the edges. I also put in a dynamat type material for sound and insulation prior to putting in the mat and boards. I'll attach some pics.

Nyles, is the trunk lid insulation going in? Mine was painted over when the car was re-sprayed before I bought it. Hard to believe the body shop didn't mask it before shooting.
Nope. The trunk light wire runs along the driver side hinge. The white wire is for a rear speaker on the deck under the window. The second one is tubing running to the air shocks.
I do have some waffled insulation to go back in the trunk lid, but never got around to installing it yet. The insulation was removed when I had the trunk lid sandblasted.
Something you might try is spraying the insulation with a flat black vinyl spray or you could even try some of the aerosol flex seal. As I recall, the insulation is sandwiched between the 2 deck lid panels.
