replacing steering coupler on 1979 tbird

I need to replace the steering coupler (rag joint) on my 1979 tbird. I do not have a shop manual. How do I go about doing this?

If it's like most Fords you have to remove the two nuts that hold it to the steering shaft. Then loosen the lock bolt that holds it to the steering gear. You will probably have to loosen the steering column to get enough play to remove the old joint and insert the new one. It's not very difficult.
