RE: Pulsating headlights
might be a faulty headlight dimmer switch.
My '60 Bird had a similar problem. Low beams were fine but when I switched to hi beams, they would either make all the lights go out or they would come off and on intermittently.
I replaced the foot-activated hi-beam switch and that fixed the problem.

Awesome, ill try that. I didnt notice it till other drivers started flashing me and honking all ****ed off. and until i parked infront of a brick wall. You dont think the alternator would have something to do with it also do you? I know a buddy of mine has that problem with an old motorola alternator on his car. thanks also I love the stray cats! how did you make the "wild cat" your icon???????

RE: Pulsating headlights
I don't know how the alternator would affect it. I'm still old-school generator...
I too am a Stray Cats fan - pretty much any rockabilly. I also like Link Wray - cool guitar riffs!
I went to rockabilly.com and linked to one of their avatars (images) for my pic. They have some pretty slick stuff!
