    1958 paint color

My 1958 Thunderbird shows a "B" color amd is listed as a WINTERSET WHITE" but Dupont books show this as a blue. The Ditzler color charts show this as a WINTERSET WHITE and a code change in August of 1958 to a "E"which is called a "Colonial White". Dupont has the mix formula for the Colonial White, my question is are these two the same color?
I would rather use the Dupont brand but the two color charts from Ditzler do not really look the same to me.
Has anyone out there already crossed this bridge that could help me?
    Appreciate the help.
    Thanks Bill

    RE: 1958 paint color

Winterset White and Colonial White are two different colors. Production in 1958 started with Winterset then switched to Colonial. The stylists probably decided that Winterset was too white and went with the more off-white Colonial.
